This is part of David Mack's cover for David Dastmalchian's graphic novel "Through". I inquired about this piece while chatting with David at Awesome Con 2026 and he showed me the cover and all of the different illustrations he used to create it. After drawing & painting the various parts, he did the final layout digitally. I couldn't resist keeping them together.

Pretty with so many layers to this! You can't tell if it's planned out or just more freehand to let the drawing come to him for the hair.
