For a brief & glorious moment in the late '70s, Godzilla entered the Marvel Universe. He encountered SHIELD, Spider-man, The Avengers and more in his two-year run, but for me the natural highlight was in issues 21 and 22, wherein (thanks to Reed Richards and Dr Doom's time machine, all Kirby creations) he is sent back to the world of Devil Dinosaur, Moon-Boy, and the Hag of the Energy Pits (all Kirby creations as well, not to put too fine a point on it). 'Zilla & DD team up eventually, but what you WANT, IMHO, is them FIGHTING, so when I found this page at WonderCon I had to pull the trigger!
