Unpublished artwork created for Quinto Centenario.

Alex gave me the background of this piece- It was created for a series of graphic novels to commemorate Quinto Centenario, the 500th anniversary of the arrival of Christopher Columbus in the Americas. The project involved a lot of well known European comic artists such as Micheluzzi, Palacios, Bermejo and Ortiz, amongst many others. According to Alex, his story was rejected because of the depiction of cannibalism. I was fortunate enough to obtain two of the pages.
