This outstanding Bronze Age original art page was created by two of Marvel’s finest talents, Barry Windsor-Smith (pencils) and Tom Palmer (inks), for Conan the Barbarian #8 (1971). This page features a dramatic multi-panel sequence showcasing Conan in intense swordplay action as he battles the Keepers of the Crypt.

Windsor-Smith’s storytelling and detailed panel composition were in full bloom during this early Conan run, and many collectors consider this period to be some of his finest work.

The artwork is ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area measuring 10" x 15". In Very Good condition.

A superb page featuring Conan in every panel, combining suspense, action, and classic Windsor-Smith storytelling, a fantastic example of early Conan original art.
