One of my favorite issues of volume 1; 9 1/2 Hours.

Becky (Fathom) used Ratman (Edward Fink) on Mercer island so that the Elementals could escape. But in spite of that all Fink still thinks that there's something between them. So when Becky groggily agreed to meet with Eddie at a restaurant in the Space Needle Restaurant she felt compelled to see him since she is supposed to be the hero after all. 

As can be expected things spiraled fast when she told him that she has no feelings for him whatsoever. Good thing Porter Scott followed her. Too bad he didn't bring silver bullets. The police were called, a SWAT team showed up, he took a hostage and that's where we're at now.
