Description
One of the features in Mad Magazine # 438 was a segment titled "The League of Rejected Super-Heroes". John Byrne illustrated the character "mediocre-man"; "In addition to JB, other comic book artists who contributed included Frank Miller, Jim Lee, Arthur Adams, John Romita JR, J. Scott Campbell, Dave Gibbons and Mike Allred. John is a huge fan of Mad Magazine and was honored to be included in the famous "Usual Gang of Idiots"! I am happy to be the caretaker of this little-known gem from JB's career.

Mediocre Man hasn't quite mastered the superhero art of the TV remote quite yet! What a fun Byrne MAD piece. Thanks for sharing this gem.
