Interesting pink interiors.
Batman should have brought a gun to the shootout at the O.K. corral ;)
Matt Allison Skulls. Gotta colllect them all! Great stuff.
Ghoulish, whimsical, and beautiful all at once.
Nice grab! This Skully Batman piece by MA is A-OK.
Two things I love, skulls and hands. Not sure how he does it, but I love the texture he achieves in the colors.
Getting Doom Patrol vibes from this one! Love the Surrealness to it! OK?!
The inner outer thoughts of the best of us. Love it.
Love it! Never seen wash/watercolor from Matt before.
Here's a process video from Matt's Instagram page showing how he does this sort of thing with markers:

I suppose this piece is OKAY.
One of Allison's great skull pieces! Really fun how there's realism and cartooning all in one!
With how dead-serious Batman is and we all tend to make him out to be, I appreciate the levity this piece brings to an otherwise dark and brudish table.
Yeah, in my lifetime there was the campy 60s TV Batman, then Neal Adams refashiined him as a serious character, then Miller made him grim & gritty, so the time is ripe for a surreal Caped Crusader. We have a Batman for all seasons and states of mind and I love every one if these takes
So fun and exquisitely executed by Matt! Love his colors. Congrats!
Is he ok tho? I like my skin, so I wouldn't be.
Very playful. The difference in rendering between the shimmering skull, from a very gothic genre, and the Pop Art simplicity of the Batman's neck and cape identify more of a 'gap' than just the missing joint between head and spine. The hand is wonderfully depicted, but like the skull it doesn't feel like it belongs to the Batman.
Crazy cool Batman commission by Matt Allison. Clearly Matt has a different way of looking at things. This portrait of the Dark Knight with a floating skull for a head muttering the word "OK," makes me smile, but I don't know why. It's bizarre, but i kinda like it.
I always knew a unicorn and a catapult would be the way Bats would go.
Color choice is great here and we get some hand lettering! So many techniques that come together every single time. Whatever bubble gum filled core this Batman is made of, I would gladly like a piece. "Double your Cankor, Double your fun!"
