John 5 Stage played and Smashed Guitar

John 5 (real name John William Lowery) is my favorite (living) guitatist and for many years he played lead guitar for my favorite band Rob Zombie.  Several years ago, on one of the Rob Zombie tours, John 5 would do a guitar solo during the song Thunderkiss 65; he concluded the solo by smashing the guitar he was playing on the stage.  Members of the John 5 fan club had the chance to buy these stage used guitars and have a private meet and greet with John 5.  I signed up for the opportunity to buy one of these guitars and meet John 5 at a Rob Zombie show in Maryland.  John was extremely gracious during our meet and greet and kindly added his (then) trademark bleeding eye makeup to the guitar and signed it to me.  I've got photos of John doing the artwork somewhere in my files and will post them here once I unearth them.

John 5 is now paying lead guitar for Motley Crue and was hand picked by the band when Mick Marrs had to retire due to failing health.
