Grell conveys the drama beautifully through the characters' facial expressions.

A very unusual sequence. Russian-crime-involving-olympic-teddy-bears is an underexplored genre, clearly. The third panel is drawn with real tenderness, and would fit any romance title. Nicely executed page.

Dancing #1, Russia #2, Women & Teddy Bears #3. Great Grell page!

Your Issue #17 collection is really coming together.  Keep it going buddy.  Great addition.

I loved reading the page. The emotion in it is even better than the art. It's a nice reminder of how reading Jon Sable always felt like I was watching a weekly, one hour drama series. So good!

“Deadly Games” as a cover blurb doesn’t quite sell me the comic like “Assassins, Teddy Bears and Fast Women”, congrats!

Congratulations on another great Jon Sable page Brother Rick!  This one truly is a beauty and it's always nice to see a RAG DOLL as a story element!

Trying to put together an entire issue is a fool's errand; when that issue is 40 years old it makes you Don Quixote. But I am rooting for you ... you can do it!

A bear that likes to dance?  Very Russian.  I've watched enough TV movies in the 80's to know that there's something valuable smuggled in that teddy bear.
