Description

A page from the final X-Calibre book and another piece of the AoA crossover. Maybe the last X-Men storyline where all the separate books genuinely added to the final plot. Nightcrawler had been sent by Magneto to seek out Destiney to confirm Bishop’ s story and restore the proper 616 timeline.

We see Destiny and Douglas trying to calm injured residents in a burning village with the Shadow King lurking in the background, and Mystique being her blunt self: “Just tell him he’s got no feet”. Some nice storytelling panels by Ken Lashely.

The king of AOA strikes again with another solid page from an amazing era.  Cheers!   Great addition.  Lots of nostalgia for Mystique in this series.

So incredibly cool!  The AOA event still holds a dear place of nostalgia over many of the other X-Men summer events beings so well coordinated in story and artistry.

Mystique does not mince words!  Iike that shot of her at the bottem left a lot.  Congrats!
