Description
Big thank you to Ian Saint for this one! I love Mitch's art, and this page is so gorgeous and iconic within Cap lore, with Steve seeing the recruitment poster, lining up and getting tested only to be told that he was too weak/frail to join, which eventually led to him taking on the super-soldier serum. Amazing art, gifted by an amazing guy!!

Undeniably iconic Cap origin story imagery/lore at this point considering how these aspects have been adapted in other mediums as well. Excellent Mitch art, really like that rainy silhouette panel at the graves. Ian really hooked you up on this one, very nice of him. congrats!

Fantastic storytelling. Doesn't even need the word balloons.

I've always had a soft spot for origin pages and as I always say, I love "origin retold" pages just as much. I really love this one because it shows the familiar scenes of Steve Rogers at the start of his journey, letting us see how it got himself into the position of ultimately being turned into America's super soldier.

This page made it into the right home. This one fit Captain America lore perfectly as I know it and happy to place it where it belongs

Those last 2 panels - "sorry man, ain't gonna happen."  LIttle does Steve know what's ahead!  Congrats!

If at first you don't succeed, then in the name of patriotism, take steroids!  But the most moving part is Steve at the graves at the top panel.  It casts a shadow over the rest of the page to show us why he's so determined to sign up.
