This piece also resulted in an oil painting. This pencil is quintessential Jones during this era - the late 70s/early 80s. Beautiful, expressive, gestural and details that make the subject come to life. Pencil on Bristol board, 12.5 x 15.5.

The second image shows the condition of the piece when I purchased it. The impact of having the paper restored and preserved is quite apparent when considered side-by-side.
