Legion of Super-Heroes #262, page 14 (James Sherman, 1980) - The disappearing/reappearing undergarments

Odd story in which the Legionnaires and their founder R.J. Brande are knocked unconscious, kidnapped, and stripped by space pirates. There might have been some behind-the-scenes debate on spiciness because some of the marks on the page make it look like underwear might have been drawn on the characters and then whited out (this is probably hard to see on my photo but more evident when looking at the actual page). But, as you can see in the smaller color pic, more modest minds prevailed, and the underwear was restored before publication! :D (The smaller pic is from a later reprint, but it appeared similarly in the original publication.)
