Sharing one of my favorite pieces before it heads to a new home. This page is from what many longtime fans consider the artistic peak of Sienkiewicz's run on Moon Knight — the Werewolf By Night arc in #29, where Bill broke fully out of the Neal Adams shadow and into the expressionistic style that would soon define New Mutants and Elektra: Assassin.
The page features Schuyler Belial preaching to his robed followers, claiming the "Morning Star" mantle. Inky washes, jagged shadows, and a final-panel close-up that absolutely fills the frame — vintage Sienkiewicz at full volume. Ink and white paint highlights over graphite on Bristol board, 10" x 15", signed by Bill in the lower margin.
After many years in my collection, the piece is heading to auction. It's lot #94320 in Heritage's May 8–10 Comic Art Signature Auction, with live bidding wrapping up on May 10. Two other Sienkiewicz pieces are in the same sale (lots 94319 and 94321) for anyone building out a Bill-focused run.
