Philly T-Square Massacre - Duckwork Cover by Matt Wagner

This was the student newspaper for the Philadelphia College of Art (University of the Arts) back in the early 1980s. It was the precursor to the Comico Comic Company and featured a lot of the same talent including Gerry Giovinco, Bill Cucinotta, and Matt Wagner. 

Sadly, it was the last issue of Duckwork as the now defunct art school was playing musical chairs with the deans in the early '80s, and the funding for the paper was pulled. It did go out with a bang with this terrific Matt Wagner cover.
