It's one of Neal's biggest innovations! The costume makeover included a new attitude of a counter culture liberal for Oliver Queen! Kind of hard to understand how some people who say they love comics, don't embody any of the lessons they tried to teach us from Kirby in WWII, to Neal in the 70's, to today's drive of inclusion.

Beautiful page from an iconic issue! One of my all time favorite issues by Neal because of his redesign of Green Arrow. As a teenager my older brother in law showed me this issue from his collection and I was hooked! Congrats!

Adding the arm guards was important because anyone who has shot a bow and arrow knows the string can hurt a lot when it hits you but I'm still mad that Neal lied to 'us' about how us blonde could grow facial hair that behaved like that on top of your head.
