Great daily! I can empathize with Dennis, I remember going to Antique store and thinking the same thing!

Hi Thomas!  Ketcham was a master at capturing the child perspective. I never seem to tire of these 1950s Dennis comics.

My uncle loved antique stores, and he'd always take me to them.  He was a glassware guy.  I'd just root around until I found something made of paper.  Old newspapers, magazines, anything like that.  That was interesting.

I forget if it was a TV show or a movie, where the character said, "We don't buy antiques, we can afford to get new stuff."  One person's antiques are another person's junk.  I've always loved Dennis the Menace.

Hi Steven, the sad thing is that I now enjoy antique shops just as much as my parents once did although it is always a little unsettling to see things from my childhood being sold as antique. Thanks for your comment!

Yep, and I still remember the first time I heard a song from when I was in High School on the oldies station.  Good times...
