9"x12" Created in 1965; purchased 2026. “If you’re going to kiss me any closer, you’ll have to wear contact lenses!” Based on what is scribbled on the reverse, I believe that it was first printed in the September 1965 issue of Gee-Whiz! Magazine, but I have yet to find that issue to confirm. I have confirmed that the image is on page 5 the October 1970 (Vol 4, No. 59) issue of Romp Magazine.

You never know, the artist might have sold the gag again back then and it might have appeared multiple times.

I found they often did since these magazines were all published by Humorama, Inc.
