The Illustrated Man

Jim's amazing painting for the cover of Ray Bradbury's "The Illustrated Man"; an iconic painting for a legendary book. 

We have admired this painting every time we visited Jane and Howard Frank's house.They first bought this directly from Jim in 1990 at the World Science Fiction Convention; the same year it was published by Bantam Books. Jim painted it in 1988. 

It was included in the Society of Illustrators National Tour in 1990-91.
