Captain Carrot - 1980'S DC Letterhead

11-2025...My purchase from Comic Art Live 12 last November! Steve Lipsky is always a pleasure to deal with and he gave me the following background story to the art...

I actually saw it myself when I visited DC Comics in New York in the 1980's.  I saw several images on the back of notepad pages at the desks of several staffers at DC.  The company printed up notepads for messages, reminders and other quick notes.  The DC logo is on the front in blue and the images of the various characters were on the back as if they were interacting with the DC logo. 

Sadly, I haven't seen one of the original letterheads, but it would be cool to see if any copies still exist. I'm glad to add a Captain Carrot piece to my collection and I am on the lookout for art from it's original run if anyone has sources.
