Original final poster artwork by Tom Chantrell for Ken Annakin's swashbuckler The Fifth Musketeer. Hand-painted in watercolour and gouache on paper adhered to an illustration board, the piece is completed with affixed paper cut-outs for the title, credits, and tagline, demonstrating the traditional mixed-media techniques used in poster production of the period. A translucent paper protective overlay is adhered to the board.
The protective layer exhibits notable wear, particularly in the form of crinkling. The name of Ursula Andress, along with "as Athos" on the line below, remains attached but shows slight peeling from the board.
