Alberto Vargas Playboy Pin-Up Study Preliminary Illustration Original Art (HMH, c. 1960s-1970s)

A lovely study of a woman, with editorial notes from Playboy Art Director, Art Paul. Vargas provided the pin-up's form, but expertly rendered the hair and eye, creating an interesting focus for the prelim. Rendered in graphite and color pencil on thin vellum with an image area of 16.5" x 28.5".
