Had the pleasure of meeting and chatting with Tim Vigil this past weekend at Denver Fan Expo and what an absolute pleasure that was! He's such an interesting artist and was super generous with his time and tales of how his classic books were made. I got to see some amazing Faust originals in his portfolio that I'll definintely be contacting him for and lots of incredible pinup work with so much detail it boggled the mind.

This piece has those classic horror pinup vibes and I wanted something super bloody which is his specialty! It's also right in line with his Gothic Nights books which I'm a huge fan of.

Huge thanks to Tim for making my day at the con and for the books and artwork!

That's an awesome Vigil piece and sounds like a great experience meeting and chatting with him at the show. Tim really does the cross section of sexy/beauty and gory/grotesque/horror incredibly well and unlike anyone else. Congrats!

I am sure I am the last one to notice, but until now, I never realized how much Vigil is likely to be a Wrightson fan. Congrats on a seriously disturbing pick up!

You nailed it! Gothic Nights is his ode to Wrightson's Frankenstein but with Tim's signature themes lol.
