Description

Not the Hulk, I know, but a piece that is near to my heart. I first met Jeff at the LCS when Bone #1 was initially released as he lives locally. Fast forward 25+ years and Jeff is scheduled to be at a local show as a fundraiser for the family of the owner of one of the best LCS in Columbus after he recently passed away. Jeff drew this piece of Bone in my car, which ironically I acquired the year I met the LCS owner (just a manager at that time). 1987 – wow, time goes by fast. Jeff is always a blast to meet and chat while he draws – great artist and overall great guy.

Additional pics include the car for reference, and Jeff and myself.

I love it!  Just surprised that his feet can reach the pedals.

It's a team effort - the whole Bone team is in the car helping out silly ;)

Such a cool piece and a great story as well! Congrats on the fun and very unique Bone sketch. Also, sweet ride! My first car was a Z28 albeit not as cool as yours (1994 era model lol).

Thanks Kavi! That's a pretty sweet ride. This was my 4th car so you got yours much sooner than I did!

Not the Hulk, but a great muscle car and the backstory of Bone that builds a mighty powerful friendship!

Jeff really is a great guy to talk to and very glad he lent a hand to help out the former owner's family. Thanks for sharing the piece and the story!

Thanks!

Jeff really is the best to talk to at shows. I always enjoy seeing his name pop up at a show. Looks like you have had some great experiences based on your collection - congrats!
