Adventures of Superman Annual # 2 Pg. 50 (Duo-shade page)

A nifty page featuring several nice shots of Superman.  It also has The Guardian and some creepy critter that looks like a blatant rip-off of Mike Ploog''s great "Norris head" creature from John Carpenter's "The Thing"!

Please note that this is the duo-shade page that John Byrne finished in wash tones and some additional inks.  There are no Curt Swan original pencils on this board.  

I have included a scan of the reverse of the board which shows the DC copyright stamp.  I am providing these scans of the reverse of the boards to help let other art collectors know exactly what they are buying in case they happen to be offered pages from this issue.  (The pencil and inked pages contain the original Curt Swan pencils and John Byrne inks, the duo-shade pages were finished in wash tones and additional india ink by John Byrne.  The duo-shade pages are the ones that were used in the publication of the comic and have the DC copyright stamp on their reverse.)
