This is an original marker illustration for the Peter Pan sketch card, created for the upcoming Peter Pan trading card set by Master Piece Cards.

This piece embraces J.M. Barrie’s original literary vision of Peter a wild, cocky, and ethereal youth who is entirely a creature of the forest. The artwork was executed using layered markers to build a high-contrast, moody jungle canopy. A strong diagonal beam of warm golden light serves as the primary highlights, cutting across his shoulder and face to contrast sharply with the cold, atmospheric blues and greens of the surrounding foliage.
