A gem of a Cockrum X-Men page and important piece of Claremont's early run on the title - killer addition to your Uncanny collection! Congrats Rick.

A first-run Cockrum X-Men page?  Are you freaking kidding me?  Counting the Giant Size, there are only 15 books (as opposed to the 35 issues Byrne drew).  So one could argue that, statistically, these are a tougher (if not cheaper) get.  Congrats on a monumental piece of comics history.  Just beautiful work by Sam & Dave (no relation).  Love that classic Cockrum closeup in panel three.  Wow, wow, wow!  Good stuff Maynard.

That's a great shot of Professor X in the 3rd panel and the foreshadowing of Phoenix in the final panel is stellar! 

Great to see Misty Knight in this page as well; I'd forgotten her appearance here... it's time to break out my tpb and reread this epic storyline!!

Wowza!!

Well, that really is a classic! The eyes in the second panel are great, and I was surprised by the memories invoked by Professor X's expression of shock. Sam Grainger put in some excellent inks here as well. Congrats!

Good heavens!  Does it get more classic than this?  Some simply -stunning- Xavier panels, but that last one of Jean...?  Call me crazy, but I feel like some trouble may be brewing...  Scott looks as dour and intense as ever, and it's easy to forget just how much Misty was around in the early Claremont X-years.  A page from X-Men #102?  Dude - this is just fantastic, and worthy of celebration, accolades, and hearty kudos.  Amazing add, Rick - WOW!

Now that is a nice add to the collection!

wow, Wow, WOW! Cockrum & Grainger were killin’ it, I actually missed Grainger’s inks when Cockrum returned to the X-Men cause he brought a certain grit I really enjoyed with these classic issues, big congrats!!

You have posted some incredible work but this is a grail.  This revisioning of the X-Mex changed the industry.  Astonishing addition.
