Description

From the young Goon/Franky story. I love this page not so much for Powell's art, but for his writing. I was struck by the simple wisdom expressed in this exchange between Goon and Franky: Franky: Gee, don't nothing scare you? Goon: Not no more. Franky: I wish I was like you. I wish I was tough. I wish I wasn't a sissy chicken. Goon: Then choose not to be.

Man, this is a good page. Probably my fav in your collection. Eric did such a great job on this story. This page is a prime example of Eric's talent.

I really loved this story. Love the young Goon and Franky. It showed what started the friendship, which so many books never do(at least believably).
