The specific character prompt was chosen entirely by the live auction winner. The artwork is handled traditionally using multi-layered markers, fine liners, and high-contrast mixed-media highlights. The composition features a menacing profile portrait of Venom, relying on a dramatic dual-lighting chiaroscuro scheme. It utilizes cool, deep blue highlights across the crown of the symbiote mass to contrast a fiery orange and crimson under-light rising from the base to illuminate his jaws and textured tongue details.
