The Twins Sketch Card

This is the unique, 1/1 original hand-drawn sketch card of the Twins, created as a one-of-a-kind piece for the newly released Peter Pan set by Master Piece Cards. As an original 1/1 sketch card, this artwork will not be reproduced or printed.

The artwork draws directly from J.M. Barrie’s classic literary depiction of the character pair, framing them in a tight, symmetrical dual portrait. Executed entirely in markers, the piece utilizes a high contrast split lighting approach. A powerful background fire creates a brilliant pillar of orange and yellow light directly between the two boys, casting strong, warm rim lighting across their inner profiles while their outer features recede into atmospheric, deep indigo and charcoal shadows. The textured layer work captures the rugged fabric of their matching woodland clothing and their guarded, watchful gazes.
