Even though she's smaller, her pose in the center panel takes up more of the couch as we get to see those gams!
Wonderful pre-Riley Godwin example! There's some drama in the faces in the first panel, but the poses and the linework are so refined and relaxed. I used to think of newspaper strips as fast reading, but I could stare at this for an hour
