XS Hero Initiative Sketch Board by Jeff Moy

Jeff continues to do little sketches for the Hero Initiative, which they then auction off to raise money for their cause.  While my other two Hero Initiative sketches from Jeff are on their little Drink & Draw coasters, this one is on a slightly larger sketch board.  I like that it allows for more of the character's body to be visible, and Jeff used the larger space to create a tighter, more detailed sketch than the ones on my coasters.

I'm always happy to pick up an XS piece by Jeff!  She's his creation, and he always draws her with a great big smile and a superspeed spring in her step.  I've noticed that every so often he'll draw a character in a more anime-inspired style than his usual one, with the bigger eyes, and I think it works really well for Jenni, here!  Even in a "sketchier" piece like this one, Jeff still added some of those beautiful taper lines to shade her costume, and I love how the speed lines and lightning effects really fill out the background and make the whole board feel full of art.
