16x22" folded sell-sheet that was printed in red and black w/fold-out cover. Back cover features Boris Badenov. Inner spread features Boris and Natasha Fatale. Boris and Natasha were a nod in name to characters in "War And Peace" and played well w/the Cold War spy game of the time. Fully unfolded inner poster features both villains plus Bullwinkle J. Moose and Rocket "Rocky" J. Squirrel. All art by Al Kilgore. Sent to newspaper publishers to promote the 1962 daily comic strips but done w/a villainous slant of don't order, don't give people what they want, cancel order, etc. Also shows different clipped press snippets about the daily strip. Back page mentions a Sunday page but that did not pan out as the strips were only done as dailies. Unused sheet is white. Lt. aging/handling wear. One inner corner is clipped but appears as made to make it easier to open fully. Exc. Scarce promotional item. Also includes two pieces of original art by Al Kilgore. First is small 3x9" artboard w/hand-lettered "From The Drawing Board Of... Al Kilgore" text and address/phone number below. Lt. aging/wear. Exc. Final piece is 3.25x7" title piece w/"Bullwinkle By Al Kilgore" hand-lettered in pencil and ink. Likely made to use as title or daily or even for Sundays that did not come to be. Lt. aging/wear. Exc.
