7.25x20.25" thin artboard contains original art pencils and inks (w/screentone accents) for the May 15, 1963 Bullwinkle daily comic strip. Strip features Boris and Natasha talking about a film and mentioning director John Ford. Original art is by Alfred R. Kilgore (1927-1983), who signed his work Al Kilgore, was an American artist who worked on the Bullwinkle comic strip for the Bell-McClure Syndicate between 1962 and 1967. A syndicated daily newspaper comic strip titled Bullwinkle which began on July 23, 1962 w/original stories that ran until 1965. Artboard has lt. aging/handling wear. Staining in top margin just barely in top of word balloons. Slight wrinkle across top and staining on back from removed tape. Screentone in first panel is still clear. Fine/VF.
