Choked Up

Thrills to add this wonderful piece by Casey Weldon to the collection. Titled "Choked Up", dated 2026, this was included in his recent "Waterworks" show at Arch Enemy Arts in Philadelphia. Here's a great description from their site: '“Choked Up” frames a vulnerable man tilting his neck upward as a shadowy female figure grips him by the throat, emerging almost completely hidden in darkness behind him. A fragment of an exit sign appears in the upper corner, suggesting escape just out of reach, while the figure remains suspended between surrender and restraint. Weldon pushes the tension through steep angled shadows, incredibly detailed realism, and a charged red-and-teal palette, turning beauty and shadow into something jagged and predatory, violence at once seductive and theatrical.'
