Original Art Page to Checkmate #28, which was published by DC Comics in 1990. This is Pg. 13 from the issue, and is a fantastic page, featuring some outstanding large splashy panels and great drama. What makes this even more special, is there is an awesome preliminary pencil sketch of The Dark Knight on the backside of the board, which has some partial inks applied (see picture 2). The piece measures approximately 11" by 17", and is on official D.C. Comics art board. Countdown, The New 52, and the Peacemaker series have brought renewed attention to this great title, and this is a really cool example to add to the collection. Don't miss out on this great piece, which would look fantastic framed and prominently displayed.
