Bill Willingham Fathom #2 Wraparound Cover Preliminary

I know that no one saw this coming, but another Willingham Elementals piece in my collection! It is actually my First Willingham cover, even if it is unpublished! Heritage listed it as the prelim cover to issue #2 of Fathom's miniseries from 1987, but it is actually similar to the wrap around cover to #3. It is very large on a 17x23" single, thick board! The interesting thing is the scan of this piece on Heritage didn't show all the schools of fish swimming around this composition that were drawn in blue pencil and not inked. When I have time I'll try to photograph those missing details. The added fish really fill up a lot of what appears to be blank space from the scan. Interestingly, I had placed a modest bid on this piece and wasn't online for the closing and was surprised to see that I actually had won the piece! 99% of the time my Heritage bids get outbid, but this time I was nicely surprised.
