Description

This is the production cover that was used for Static #23. Pencils by Wilfred Santiago and inks by John Stanisci whose line art was transferred on to heavy smooth hot press paper for Noelle Giddings to paint with mixed media for this cover. Glad to add another beautiful Static cover from Noelle Giddings.

Static was the breakout character and they made the extra effort to create the cover this way as opposed to digital colors that were often very garish for that time.  This works within a range and makes the action more uniform and natural.
