Heroes Redrawn: The Liberty Legion (Blue Ice 1)

The Sub-Mariner -- who is now mind-controlled by the Red Skull -- is dispatched to destroy the Statue of Liberty!  But lying in wait for him are Jack Frost and the Blue Diamond!  Can they stop Namor, or will they be just two more casualties in the Skull's quest to destroy great American landmarks?<p>

The original artwork on this page was penciled by the late, great Frank Robbins with inks by Vince Colletta.   The redrawn version is by the very much alive and great Darryl Banks!  Darryl is my number one most commissioned artist and this page shows exactly why.  He absolutely blew this one away!<p>

The merging of these two images, as well as the idea for Heroes Redrawn, are both courtesy ot the great Brian Sagar (a.k.a. the Marvel Two-in-One Guy).  He's the visionary that came up with the idea of having contemporary revisualize and redraw published pages and contrasting the images and styles of two different artists.   Check out his gallery and prepare to feast your eyes.   You will not be disappointed!<p>
