Asteroids - Unpublished Comic Cover (circa 1982) - Gil Kane

This is cover art from an undated Gil Kane project. The colored image is a futuristic science fiction splash piece. Image area measures 13.5 inches x 10.5 inches. It is secured to a black board with a piece of vellum taped to the upper edge of the board. The piece was probably a comic cover or animation presentation for Asteroids (based on the Atari video game) but this cannot be confirmed. This item is either original art or a color guide/production art from the project.
