In the 1910s ROMULUS encountered the feral mutant Wolverine for the first time in Madripoor. He was working for the Ninja cult called the Hand and hired the freelancer on a mission to Tokyo where he encountered Sabretooth.

The artwork is by
DOUG BRAITHWAITE (pencils), and BILL REINHOLD (India ink, Lamp Black Gouache washes). The art was done on 11" X 17" MARVEL paper on the original pencils.
