Description

UPDATE: Ka-Zar has found a new loving home, happy hunting Lord of The Savage Land! One of my few published pieces, from waaaay back in the 1980s in The Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe. While I've not been exposed to a lot of Mayerik's work, I've always thought he was really good. Plus this piece is inked by Joe Rubinstein, one of the all-time greatest inkers ever. This popped up on ebay in late 2002 and I somehow got lucky and got a good deal on it. This has obviously been around the world about 20 times because the board's got all kinds of dents and dings in it, but the art area has miraculously remained untouched. Pencil and ink on 11x17 Bristol.
