Description

This is a "take home" commission on a backing board from one of George's convention appearances where he was taking a commission list. My memory is vague but at the time, I think he was funding his "time off" to create Crimson Plague.

It was sure nice to see George, it had been a while since I'd seen George at a comic show.

Black Canary was created by Robert Kanigher and Carmine Infantino.

Why do I suddenly feel like Buzz Lightyear in Toy Story 2 when his wings pop out at the end. You KNOW what I'm talking about!! DAMN!!! When you think sulry and sensuality comes up on the list, you normally think of Hughes, Balent, or now Roux but don't forget about George entirely. This piece proves that!!!

Love that she's not wearing boots and he gave her reinforced heel and toe fishnets - how else do you get home without any rips or holes!? He was a kind man and this is a fun/great piece/idea
