Story Board Drawing of Raggedy Andy, 1941

The Fleischer Studio short film of Raggedy Ann and Andy has a rather simple storyline about the creation of the dolls and their need to obtain names. The nameless boy doll is lead astray from their mission by a cute Spanish doll, who ultimately dumps him because without a name he was a nobody. This beautifully drawn storyboard shows Andy's infatuation with the temptress and is remarkably close to the final, animated scene.
