Long story short. I saw this on EBAY by some guy named Phil Noto. Liked it, noticed he lived locally, bought it, met him, liked him, helped convince him to break in to comics. Technically speaking, this is the piece that started the NOTOMANIA!

Man oh man do I remember this. Saw the same auction and asked that unknown fella if he would do a comission painting for me.
