Description

This is Page 5 of the story "Wish Upon a Star" that appeared in Wonder Woman (First Series) 214 in 1974. Diana in her secret identity is apparently visiting a Medieval Times type place with an actor/villain playing Henry VIII. Green Lantern (the Hal Jordan incarnation) narrates. The story is by Elliot Magin with Curt Swan and Phil Zupa. Phil did a good job on the inks. It's a very classic Swan page, dear to my heart because of my novel and it reminds me of my days in the Society for Creative Anachronism.

I notice that Wonder Woman just uses glasses to disguise her identity and nobody talks about how ridiculous that is like they do with Superman. Maybe, once she's in the Wonder Woman costume, nobody looks at her face.
