Description

The guys at the Yahoo Original Art groups were talking about Supergirl a few weeks back, so i figured I'd post a Supergirl drawing that I did for fun way back when.

I did it in a fashion style (I was doing some fashion illustration at the time) that I was working on at the time. Sorta influenced by Pat Nagle and Peter Max, Mucha and others. A fan who was an Art School student called it "Electric Nouveau" I like it.

Patty B. at DC loved this pic and wanted to do a poster of it, (full color Nagle style) figuring it would attract a very different audience. It might have... but Patty and the Dick Tones left DC's management and I never really pursued it after that.

Thanx J.Sid! I'm actually redoing it for a commission... and I think I'll try to mix in a bit more Thick to Thin... Pat Nagle and Bruce Timm's bastard child.
