Description
Killer study of a sunken galleon with women going through the wreck and chest. I keep looking at this piece and discovering something new everytime. At first I thought these we're mermaids, but I can't find any fins or tails. If anyone knows anything more on this original I would love to hear it. Beautiful colored watercolor and ink on colored paper, signed and measures 10" x 8 1/2".

Indeed a beautiful piece. I wonder if Kaluta saw it before doing his classic image 'Behind Neptunes Throne" It has a similar feel.
