Sakai, Stan - Jotaro!

When I met Stan again in March of 2003, I was sooooo torn on what pre-drawn piece to buy from him - he brought a binder full of stuff, typically the spot illos that show up as the back covers on Usagi Yojimbo. Luckily I was the first one at his table so I got to have my pick without fighting anyone off. I finally narrowed it down to this one and an Usagi piece, and my wife Dennisse was really nudging me to get this one (what can I say, she was swayed by the cute!), but I wanted a really iconic Usagi piece... after a lot of thought, she told me to buy them both so we'd both be satisfied. You don't have to tell me twice! I love the Jotaro character, and I always enjoy seeing where Stan's gonna have the tokage lizards pop up. This piece rocks! Not sure which, if any, issue of UY this was published in. Pencil and ink on 11x14 Bristol.
