Description

Mother Wendy sadly begins the tale of her youth when she flew away to a magical island with a strange little boy. Jane is enthralled and earnestly wishes that she too could fly away on such an adventure. I don't think there are words for Mother Wendy's reaction to this, so the expression her face in panel 7 must sufice. As Wendy begins her story, she sees the nursery as it was a long time ago.... copyright Craig Hamilton
